Education and Career history
Graduate (J.D.) magna cum laude in 2009 at Università degli Studi di Cagliari with dissertations on Maritime and Transport Law.
Second degree (J.D.) in 2011 at UCAM - Universidad Catòlica San Antonio de Murcia.
Diploma abtained after lowing attended at the post graduate two years course organized by the M. de André Law School in Genoa (2011).
Admitted to the Italian Bar (2013).
In 2009, Cristiana has started her practice in law with M&C. Studio Legale Internazionale in Genoa.
In 2015, she has spent a secondment period in London with a primary international law firm.
After seven years with M&C. Studio Legale Internazionale, when such firm merged in 2016 with Riccomagno Law Firm, Cristiana has become lawyer of MR International Lawyers.
Practice description
Wide experience both in domestic and international litigation with focus on disputes concerning law of insurances, maritime and transport law (air, road, combined, logistics) and related issues of conflicts of law and choice of forum. The daily work for Italian and foreign clients concerns: shippers and carrier's liability, cargo loss or damage, average adjustments, air, land and maritime claims, insurance, cautionary proceedings, arrests of ships, enforcements of liens on cargoes interim measures in general and relations with maritime and customs authorithies. Extensive practice also in the area of insolvency law, claim recovery and enforcement procedures both relating to movable as well as immovable assets.
Association membership
Member of the Italian Maritime Law Association (AIDIM) of WISTA Italia (Women's International Shipping and Trading Association) and of the Propeller Club - Port of Genoa. She regularly attends congress, workshops and training courses both in Italy and abroad.
Personal life outside the law
Travels, photography, animals and all sports having to do with the sea and wind.
